The Tulane University cross country teams will begin the 2015 season on Friday, Sept. 3, when they travel to Mobile, Alabama, to participate in the Jaguar Opener hosted by the University of South Alabama at The Grounds.

The Tulane University men’s cross country team received regional recognition as the Green Wave were ranked 15th in the South Central Region in a preseason poll released Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

This past Sunday, each of Tulane's 16 sports teams gathered inside Yulman Stadium for the annual athletics banquet, honoring all of the Green Wave's achievements during the 2014-15 season.

For the second consecutive season, Tulane's men's and women's cross country programs have earned All-Academic team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), announced the organization on Wednesday.
