LAFAYETTE Lindsey Harmon landing the state's top mark in women's high jump highlighted the list of seven Ragin' Cajuns performances on the 2013 All-Louisiana Track and Field Team announced by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

The team is made up of the top three times and marks in each event during the outdoor track season based on school lists and NCAA and NAIA top times lists.

Harmon's leap of 5-10 at the University of South Alabama Jaguar Invitational on March 30 edged out LSU's Lynnika Pitts' mark of 5-10 for the state's top honors.

The Cajuns men representatives were headlined by Sun Belt Conference Indoor and Outdoor shot put champion Myles Melancon whose toss of 58-2 at the Texas State Bobcat Classic on April 26 being the second-highest mark amongst state competitors.

Justin Victor landed third place honors in the hammer throw (199-3 at Bobcat Classic) and Wes Gonzales' points total of 6,629 in the decathlon placed him second.

Kacey Elphage, twice named Sun Belt Conference Track Athlete of the Week, ran the women's 100 meter hurdles under 14 seconds a total of nine times during the 2013 outdoor season. Her top mark of 13.31 seconds at the Texas State Bobcat Classic placed her third on the state's list.

Tarvia Conway and Tia Mitchell represented the Cajuns women in the jumps. Conway's leap of 41-10 in the triple jump at the Sun Belt Championships and Mitchell's jump of 20-2 in the long jump also at the SBC Championships landed the duo on the All-Louisiana squad.
