After sprinting into Friday's final in the 200-meter dash with a qualifying performance on Thursday night, Lady Tiger freshman Jada Martin nearly earned a spot on the medal podium with a fifth-place finish as she clocked a wind-aided 23.35 seconds for fifth place in the event at the 2014 IAAF World Junior Championships.
