RUSTON Northwestern State-Louisiana Tech competition gets an early start Saturday as the Tech cross country program opens its season by hosting NSU's teams and several others for the Mook 5 meet at Tech Farm. The Demons and Bulldogs tangle in football a couple of miles away Saturday evening. Saturday morning's races will be the first on a new on-campus course after years of running the Mook 5 meet at the Lincoln Parish Park.
